Sunday Random 10

Happy Easter to those of you who celebrate it! Been a long day, so here's what the little green Nano came up with this morning.

Let's...Hit...Shuffle!

Wilco - Wishful Thinking
Greg Brown - I Don't Know Anybody in This Town
Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings - Without a Heart
Yusuf - Heaven/Where True Love Goes
The Kinks - Picture Book
Carly Simon - Just Like a Woman
Joe Henry - Fireman's Wedding
Jeff Arundel - It's Okay
Drive-By Truckers - Everybody Needs Love
Dan Zanes - When the Curtains of Night are Pinned Back

Wilco leads off for the second week in a row. We'll see if they can keep the streak up next week. The wonderful Kinks tune (from The Village Green Preservation Society) made a memorable appearance in a HP printer commercial a few years back. The Carly Simon track is one of the less memorable Dylan covers on Amnesty International's 4-disc Chimes of Freedom. If you don't own Joe Henry's terrific Kindness of the World, go track down a copy. Same goes for Dan Zanes' Parades and Panoramas.

We now return you to This Week's Discussion Question (Why isn't this guy on the Sunday morning talk shows?), already in progress.
